Requirements
1. Must be a citizen of India.
2. Must be a member of the Lok Sabha or the Rajya Sabha, or eligible to become one within six months of appointment.
3. Proven experience in high-level public administration and governance, typically as a Chief Minister or senior Union Minister.
4. Comprehensive understanding of Indian constitutional law, parliamentary procedures, and fiscal policy.
5. Demonstrated leadership in managing national security, foreign relations, and complex domestic affairs.
6. The ability to command a majority in the Lok Sabha, either directly or through a coalition.
