byteSpark.ai is supporting a client seeking a Senior Presales Manager – Telecom Solutions. This senior, hands-on individual contributor role combines technical expertise in mobile networks and 5G with commercial presales for international customers. Lead customer discovery and translate business and technical needs into feasible, compelling telecommunications solutions. Develop proposed architectures, solution documentation, technical and commercial value propositions, and customer presentations. Partner with sales, engineering, product and delivery stakeholders to guide opportunities from qualification through technical proposals and handover. Lead technical discussions, workshops and demonstrations with customer teams and decision makers. Contribute to RFIs, RFPs, bid responses and assessments of technical risks and solution feasibility. Build trusted customer relationships and support technical negotiation without carrying direct people-management responsibility. This full-time role is fully remote for candidates resident in the EU or UK, with international travel of approximately 30%, varying with customer and project requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of relevant professional experience, including meaningful work in telecom, network solutions or technical presales.
  • Strong practical knowledge of mobile networks, including 4G/LTE and 5G architectures, infrastructure and connectivity solutions.
  • Customer-facing technical discovery and ability to propose viable network or telecom solutions.
  • Ability to explain technical capabilities in commercial terms and support complex opportunities.
  • Experience preparing technical proposals, RFI/RFP responses, customer presentations or comparable presales deliverables.
  • Clear communication and stakeholder management with international customers.
  • Independently own presales deliverables and collaborate effectively with remote sales, engineering and delivery teams.
  • Current residence in an EU member state or the United Kingdom, and willingness to travel internationally approximately 30% as projects require.

Desirable

  • Experience with 5G standalone or non-standalone deployments, private 5G, or network transformation.
  • Familiarity with 3GPP, network virtualization, cloud-native telecom architectures, or Open RAN.
  • Work with mobile network operators, telecom vendors, integrators, or enterprise customers.
  • Experience supporting large or multi-country telecom bids or opportunities.
  • Relevant telecom or networking certifications.
