We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team and drive the development of our cutting-edge platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading engineering teams and a deep expertise in Node.js, Express.js, and a variety of database technologies including MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. You will be instrumental in architecting solutions on AWS, ensuring system reliability through robust monitoring with Prometheus and the ELK stack. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with Generative AI and Large Language Models, integrating intelligent features into our products. Requirements
1. A minimum of 6 years of professional backend software development experience.
2. Demonstrated experience in a technical leadership or team lead capacity.
3. Expert-level proficiency in Node.js and the Express.js framework for building scalable APIs.
4. Strong experience with both SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
5. Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and scaling applications on AWS.
6. Proficiency in setting up and utilizing monitoring and logging tools, specifically Prometheus and the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
7. Experience with integrating Generative AI APIs or knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs).
8. Familiarity with using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Codex.
Desirable
1. Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
2. Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation and best practices.
3. Familiarity with other backend programming languages such as Python or Go.
4. Experience with building real-time applications using WebSockets or similar technologies.
5. Contributions to open-source projects.
