Sales Manager (Restaurants / Munich)

Description

Saltz is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Sales Manager to spearhead our growth in the Munich restaurant scene. In this role, you will be the face of Saltz, connecting local chefs with our network of trusted farms and producers. Your primary mission is to acquire new restaurant and HORECA clients by identifying prospects, conducting product demonstrations, and showcasing the value of fresher ingredients at better prices. You will manage the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach via calls and in-person visits to converting leads and nurturing long-term relationships. This position is perfect for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is passionate about revolutionizing the food supply chain. You will work closely with the founders, contribute to our sales playbook, and make a tangible impact on our rapid growth.

Requirements

1. Fluent German language proficiency (C1 level or higher).

2. Demonstrable experience in B2B sales, preferably within the HORECA or food-tech sectors.

3. Proven track record of full-cycle sales management, from prospecting to closing and relationship management.

4. Proficiency in using CRM software to manage leads and sales pipelines.

5. Experience with proactive outreach methods, including cold calling, social media prospecting, and in-person visits.

6. Strong presentation and product demonstration skills.

7. Excellent listening, negotiation, and communication abilities.

8. Experience working in a restaurant kitchen or a deep understanding of restaurant operations and procurement.

Desirable

1. An existing network of contacts within the Munich restaurant and hospitality industry.

2. Experience working in a high-growth, early-stage startup environment.

3. Fluency in additional languages besides German and English.

4. Experience contributing to the development of sales processes and playbooks.

5. Familiarity with AI tools for sales and productivity.
