We are seeking a visionary Director of Talent Development, Culture & Engagement to architect and lead our people strategy in our dynamic, fast-growing retail business based in Dubai. Reporting to the CHRO, you will be instrumental in building our talent infrastructure from the ground up. This pivotal role involves designing and implementing a holistic talent development framework, including succession planning, career pathways, and leadership readiness programs. You will champion our corporate culture and values, driving measurable employee engagement initiatives to attract and retain top talent across the region. As a strategic advisor to the executive team, you will leverage data-driven insights to foster a high-performance, inclusive environment. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to scale by building robust leadership pipelines and future-proofing our workforce for omnichannel retail. This is a unique opportunity to shape the organizational fabric and employee experience for a leading consumer brand.

Requirements

1. 12-15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role dedicated to talent development, organizational development, or engagement.

2. Proven experience building and implementing comprehensive talent management and succession planning frameworks from scratch.

3. Demonstrated success in designing and leading multi-level learning programs (frontline, mid-level, leadership) in a multi-site organization.

4. Expertise in developing and executing employee engagement strategies with measurable outcomes on retention and performance.

5. Strong experience in executive stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and advise at the Board/ExCom level.

6. Proficiency in using talent analytics, engagement dashboards, and HR data to drive strategic decision-making.

7. Deep understanding of competency mapping, career pathing, and high-potential talent identification methodologies.

8. Experience leading organizational development and change management initiatives.

Desirable

1. Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.

2. Professional certifications in Coaching, Organizational Development (OD), or Talent/Leadership Development.

3. Direct experience within the retail, FMCG, or consumer goods industry.

4. Experience working in the UAE or broader GCC region.

5. Expertise in implementing blended learning models, including digital and on-the-job training.
