We are seeking a diligent and experienced Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the legal and compliance framework across our diverse business units within the financial services sector. You will ensure the company's adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, particularly those governed by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) and the Capital Market Authority (CMA). The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance policies and procedures. You will conduct regular risk assessments, provide expert guidance to business leaders, and foster a strong culture of compliance throughout the organization. With at least five years of dedicated experience, you will act as a key advisor, translating complex regulatory requirements into practical, actionable business strategies to safeguard our operations and reputation.
Requirements
1. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a compliance role.
2. Fluency in both Arabic and English.
3. Demonstrated experience within the financial services industry (e.g., banking, asset management, insurance).
4. In-depth knowledge of the Saudi Arabian regulatory landscape, including SAMA and CMA regulations.
5. Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive compliance programs and frameworks.
6. Experience providing compliance and legal guidance across multiple business units.
7. Strong skills in interpreting legal statutes and regulatory requirements and translating them into business policies.
8. Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
9. Solid understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) principles.
Desirable
1. Professional compliance certifications such as CAMS or CCO.
2. Master's degree in Law or a relevant discipline.
3. Experience with compliance management software and RegTech tools.
4. Prior experience in direct engagement with regulatory bodies in Riyadh.
