We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Aircraft Engineer with a specialized background in In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and certification of advanced IFE systems across our fleet. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and performance of our cabin technology, directly impacting passenger experience. You will perform both line and base maintenance, diagnose complex system faults, and ensure all work complies with stringent aviation regulations. This position requires hands-on experience with major IFE manufacturer systems and their integration with other aircraft avionics. The ideal candidate will also participate in system upgrade and retrofit projects, bringing technical leadership and a commitment to excellence. Requirements

1. Proven hands-on experience in maintaining, installing, or troubleshooting In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems.

2. Demonstrable experience with major IFE systems from manufacturers like Panasonic, Thales, or Safran.

3. Strong understanding of the integration between IFE systems and core aircraft avionics, including ARINC data busses.

4. Advanced proficiency in diagnosing and rectifying complex hardware, software, and network faults within IFE systems.

5. Thorough knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g., EASA Part 145/21, FAA FARs) related to IFE system maintenance and modification.

6. Experience with reading and interpreting aircraft maintenance manuals (AMM), wiring diagrams, and schematics.

7. Licensed Aircraft Engineer (EASA Part 66 B1/B2 or equivalent) is highly preferred.

8. Experience in documenting maintenance tasks and ensuring airworthiness compliance.

Desirable

1. Experience participating in or leading IFE system upgrade and retrofit projects.

2. Familiarity with SATCOM and other connectivity solutions integrated with IFE.

3. Strong communication skills for effective liaison with cabin crew, technical support, and manufacturers.

4. Project management experience within an aviation maintenance environment.

5. Experience with specific diagnostic software and tools for IFE systems.
