Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Programme Leader for our Business programme at The College London. The ideal candidate will oversee programme delivery, ensuring quality standards, and act as an academic mentor for students. Responsibilities include supervising students, internal verifications, and coordinating curriculum developments in line with sector standards. This onsite role requires someone who excels at problem-solving, project management, and collaboration with students and colleagues to meet and exceed learning objectives. The Programme Leader will also undertake administrative responsibilities, prepare applications to external bodies, and coordinate projects and field trips for the academic year.
Requirements
1. Hold a degree-level qualification in a relevant field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Further or Higher Education.
3. Proven experience in leading a programme or module within an educational setting.
4. Familiarity with sector developments, such as OfS or OIA regulations.
5. Demonstrated ability to use diverse teaching, learning, and assessment methods effectively.
6. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
7. Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience in Further Education (FE) or Higher Education (HE).
8. Demonstrated experience in leading academic programmes.
9. Familiarity with sector developments such as OfS and OIA.
10. Proven experience in internal verification processes and curriculum design.
11. Ability to oversee student supervision and provide constructive assessment and feedback.
Desirable
1. Possess a teaching qualification such as DET, PGCE, or QTLS certification.
2. Experience with internal verification and quality assurance processes.
3. Teaching qualification such as DET, PGCE, or QTLS approval.
4. Experience with managing external academic projects and field trips.
5. Strong organisational and time management skills under pressure.
