We are seeking a dynamic and innovative New Product Development (NPD) Manager to join our team in Croydon. This full-time role offers hybrid flexibility and the opportunity to lead the creation of exciting new food products. You will be at the forefront of our innovation, responsible for the entire product lifecycle from concept to commercialization. The NPD Manager will drive research and development initiatives, applying deep knowledge of food science and technology to create market-leading products. This position involves hands-on project management, close collaboration with internal teams and external food industry partners. You will oversee all day-to-day tasks related to product development, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong organizational skills, capable of translating consumer insights into tangible, successful products. Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a closely related field.

2. Proven experience in managing the full new product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch.

3. Strong practical knowledge and application of food science and food technology principles.

4. Demonstrated project management skills within the food and beverage industry.

5. Experience in research and development (R&D), including benchtop formulation and pilot plant trials.

6. Familiarity with food industry regulations, quality assurance, and food safety standards.

7. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.

8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Desirable

1. Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.

2. Experience with Stage-Gate or similar formal NPD processes.

3. Knowledge of current food trends and consumer insights analysis.

4. Experience working with co-packers and ingredient suppliers.

5. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, MS Project).
