Senior Fullstack Engineer

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our team and help elevate our technical capabilities and engineering standards. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to scope work, writing high-quality tests, and resolving complex issues using advanced observability tools. You'll draft comprehensive technical design documents to communicate solutions and tradeoffs to stakeholders and deliver high-quality projects that set engineering benchmarks. Additionally, as a mentor, you'll promote best practices, provide insightful code reviews, and foster relationships with both team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

1. 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering.

2. 4+ years of experience with Ruby, including Ruby on Rails development.

3. 4+ years of experience with front-end development technologies.

4. Proficiency in tools such as Git, AWS, Postgres, Redis, Docker, Github Actions, and Terraform.

5. Skilled in leveraging observability tooling for production (e.g., logging, monitoring, alerting).

6. Experienced in technical writing, with the ability to craft detailed design documents and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable

1. Production experience with functional programming languages.

2. Experience in Python for production-level applications.

3. Proven experience collaborating with a Data team.
