We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Director to spearhead our growth across the APAC region. In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies for our cutting-edge satellite communication services. You will lead sales initiatives across both B2B and B2C channels, driving market penetration and revenue growth in key territories including Indonesia, China, the Philippines, and Malaysia. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep industry knowledge and regional expertise to build and manage a high-performing sales team, establish key partnerships, and secure major accounts. This position requires a visionary leader with a proven track record of exceeding targets within the telecommunications and satellite sectors. You will be instrumental in defining our market presence and achieving our ambitious business objectives in this critical region.
Requirements
1. Minimum 10 years of senior sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the telecommunications or satellite industry.
2. Demonstrable track record of successfully managing both B2B (enterprise/government) and B2C sales channels and strategies.
3. Extensive, hands-on experience in market development and sales leadership within Indonesia, China, Philippines, and Malaysia.
4. Proven ability to develop, implement, and lead multi-country sales strategies that drive significant revenue growth and market share.
5. Strong experience in structuring, negotiating, and closing complex, high-value deals with enterprise and governmental clients.
6. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related technical field.
7. Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools to manage pipelines and forecast accurately.
8. Exceptional leadership skills with experience building, mentoring, and motivating a geographically dispersed sales team.
Desirable
1. An MBA or other advanced degree is highly preferred.
2. Fluency in one or more regional languages such as Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, or Tagalog.
3. An established, high-level network of contacts within the telecommunications, enterprise, and government sectors across the key APAC markets.
4. Direct experience with the sale of satellite broadband, IoT, or mobility services.
5. Experience working for a major satellite operator or service provider.
