Treasury Analyst

Description

The Treasury Analyst plays a pivotal role in managing cash management functions for assigned markets in the Middle East and Africa. This includes optimizing cash forecasts, executing money market and spot FX transactions, and ensuring cost-effective procurement of funds. The role involves fostering strong business partnerships with market stakeholders, optimizing liquidity and debt usage, and ensuring compliance with internal treasury policies and frameworks. Key responsibilities also include treasury reporting, risk management, and adherence to internal controls.

Requirements

1. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

2. University degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

3. Demonstrated experience in managing cash flows, forecast accuracy, and executing money market and spot FX transactions.

4. Knowledge of treasury management systems (TMS) and risk management techniques.

5. Understanding of internal controls, treasury standard operating procedures, and compliance policies.

6. Hands-on experience in finance, treasury, or bank-related roles; internships accepted.

Desirable

1. Completed or working towards professional certifications like ACT or ACCA.

2. Experience dealing with Middle Eastern or African financial markets.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
