Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Investment Analyst to serve as the analytical cornerstone of their investment team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building complex financial models, conducting thorough company valuations, and performing comprehensive due diligence on potential investments. You will translate strategic directives into rigorously evidenced recommendations by conducting in-depth sector and macroeconomic research. Your duties will include producing high-impact investment committee memos and board materials, supporting the deal execution process, and meticulously monitoring the performance of portfolio holdings. You will also manage asset allocation modeling, rebalancing analysis, and peer benchmarking to support portfolio construction and performance. This position requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional capable of delivering clear, data-driven insights to support critical investment decisions.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
2. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a similar investment analysis role.
3. Expert proficiency in financial modeling, including DCF, LBO, M&A, and comparable company analysis.
4. Demonstrated experience in conducting comprehensive due diligence (financial, commercial, operational).
5. Proven ability to write detailed investment memorandums and prepare presentations for senior stakeholders.
6. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial data terminals (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet).
7. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
8. Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
1. CFA charterholder or candidate.
2. Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, Master in Finance).
3. Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, Tableau).
4. Direct experience in deal execution and transaction support.
