Technical Expert CCTV Surveillance

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Expert in CCTV Surveillance to play a crucial role in designing and implementing a comprehensive national video surveillance system. This pivotal position involves defining both functional and non-functional requirements to ensure the system meets organizational objectives and adheres to strict security standards. The role encompasses the evaluation and enhancement of existing systems, development of technical procurement specifications, and collaboration with cross-functional teams for seamless system integration. With a focus on traffic monitoring and general safety surveillance in public and security-sensitive locations, this role is instrumental in leveraging technology to support national security efforts.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

2. Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in the design, implementation, and management of CCTV systems, preferably in large-scale and mission-critical environments.

3. Proven expertise in defining system requirements, developing technical specifications, and conducting vendor evaluations.

4. Extensive knowledge of CCTV hardware, software, protocols, and industry standards.

5. Strong analytical skills with the capability to tackle complex technical challenges and propose innovative solutions.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.

Desirable

1. Experience with traffic monitoring and surveillance systems, including Weigh-in-Motion and traffic violation detection.

2. Familiarity with emerging technologies and industry trends in the field of video surveillance.

3. Previous experience working on government or law enforcement video surveillance projects.
