We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team, specializing in designing, managing, and optimizing climate control systems for industrial-scale agricultural facilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five to six years of hands-on experience, with a proven track record in the farming industry, particularly within dairy farm operations. This role requires an expert in developing robust HVAC solutions that ensure optimal environmental conditions for livestock health and productivity. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from initial design and specification to installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance. A key requirement for this position is specific expertise with advanced cooling systems like Correl coolers. Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum 5-6 years of professional experience as an HVAC Engineer.
3. Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing industrial-scale HVAC systems.
4. Specific project experience within the farming or agricultural industry is mandatory.
5. Proven expertise in working with evaporative cooling systems, specifically Correl coolers.
6. Proficiency in HVAC design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HAP).
7. Strong understanding of psychrometrics, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics as applied to agricultural environments.
8. Knowledge of industry codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE) related to agricultural ventilation.
Desirable
1. Professional Engineer (PE) license.
2. Experience with HVAC control systems and building automation systems (BAS).
3. Project management certification (e.g., PMP).
4. Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainable design practices in an industrial context.
5. Experience in conducting site audits and energy-saving calculations.
