Description
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Sales and Events Coordinator to join our team at MK Gallery. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the Head of Commercial Services to meet and exceed our annual sales targets for venue hires. You will be responsible for the entire event lifecycle, from responding to initial enquiries and generating new business to flawless on-the-day execution and post-event follow-up. The ideal candidate will be a brand ambassador, building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders. You will manage event operations, ensure health and safety compliance, and take a hands-on leadership role during events. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and ambitious individual to make a significant impact on our commercial success. A flexible approach is essential, as the role requires availability for evening and weekend work.

4. Proficiency in using booking systems or CRM software to manage sales pipelines and event diaries.
5. Excellent client and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
6. Experience in creating event-related health and safety documentation, such as risk assessments and method statements.
7. Hands-on experience in event operations, including overseeing setup, coordinating with catering, and managing event staff.
8. Confirmed ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet event demands.

2. Familiarity with the Milton Keynes corporate and business community.
3. Experience working within a gallery, museum, or other unique public-facing venue.
4. Experience in developing bespoke menus or catering packages with culinary teams.
5. A relevant health and safety certification (e.g., IOSH).
