About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced AI Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of advanced AI solutions within the lawful intercept domain. The ideal candidate will leverage a strong background in telecommunications to develop cutting-edge capabilities around specific use cases. This senior role requires hands-on experience in architecting and deploying complex AI systems, particularly large language models. You will be responsible for the entire solution lifecycle, from conceptualization and dimensioning to deployment on both private and public cloud infrastructures. This position is critical for driving innovation at the intersection of AI and telecommunications, ensuring our solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant. Your expertise will shape the next generation of intelligence capabilities in a highly regulated environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Solution Architect, specifically with AI and ML-focused projects.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience in the end-to-end implementation of AI solutions in production environments.
  • In-depth knowledge and professional experience within the telecommunications (Telco) industry.
  • Strong understanding of the principles, technologies, and regulatory landscape of Lawful Interception.
  • Expertise in dimensioning, deploying, and managing large language models (LLMs).
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing solutions on both private (e.g., OpenShift, VMWare) and public cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) infrastructure.
  • Experience with full-stack development concepts and architecting multi-modal AI systems.
  • Strong understanding of MLOps principles and building scalable, automated AI pipelines.

Desirable skills

  • Familiarity with telecommunication standards such as ETSI and 3GPP.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Cloud and AI/ML certifications from major providers (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer).
  • Experience with data engineering and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

This is a senior AI Solution Architect role focused on designing and implementing advanced AI capabilities within a telecommunications and lawful intercept environment. The role covers solution architecture, use-case development, infrastructure dimensioning, production deployment, scalability, security, and technical delivery.

The most relevant experience includes senior AI or ML solution architecture, hands-on implementation of production AI systems, telecommunications industry exposure, and experience designing solutions across the full technical lifecycle. Candidates should be able to demonstrate personal ownership of architecture and delivery rather than only advisory or project management involvement.

Professional knowledge of lawful intercept systems, technologies, standards, or operating environments is highly relevant to this role. Candidates with strong telecommunications and AI architecture experience may still be considered where they can demonstrate closely related experience and the ability to understand regulated, security-sensitive technical environments.

This is not purely a strategy, consulting, or presales role. The successful candidate should understand how AI solutions are designed, dimensioned, integrated, deployed, and operated in production. This includes working with engineering teams, evaluating infrastructure requirements, making architecture decisions, and resolving practical delivery challenges.

Relevant experience includes large language models, natural language processing, multi-modal AI, MLOps, containerized deployment, and scalable AI pipelines. Candidates should understand the infrastructure requirements for deploying models and ideally have experience across private cloud, on-premise, air-gapped, hybrid, or public cloud environments.

A professional background within telecommunications is strongly preferred. Experience working for a telecom operator, network technology vendor, lawful intercept provider, or a company delivering technical solutions into telecom environments would be particularly relevant.

We do not send automatic email confirmations after every application. The review process usually takes two to three weeks, depending on the client’s priorities, role urgency, and the volume of relevant applications received.

Yes. byteSpark.ai is happy to provide feedback where possible if applicants request it after submitting. Feedback may depend on the stage reached, the information available, and the client’s review progress.
