About the role

byteSpark.ai is hiring on behalf of a leading enterprise client for an FP&A Manager within its Group-level finance team. The role will lead annual budgeting, multi-year planning, and rolling forecasting across a complex portfolio of entities, business units, and functions. The successful candidate will coordinate planning assumptions, challenge submissions, and align financial targets with the strategic objectives of the Group. They will maintain rigorous control over large-scale OPEX, investigate material variances, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and financial performance. The FP&A Manager will manage complex group consolidations and ensure accurate, timely, and consistent performance reporting. They will develop advanced financial models, scenario analyses, and decision-support materials for strategic and operational initiatives. The role will translate high-volume financial information into clear board presentations, executive summaries, and actionable recommendations. Close collaboration with business heads, subsidiary finance leaders, and executive stakeholders will be essential to establish accountability and improve planning outcomes. This opportunity requires a qualified accountant with substantial corporate FP&A experience, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to operate effectively at the apex of a large enterprise.

  • Hands-on expertise in complex financial consolidation across multiple entities, business units, functions, or jurisdictions.
  • Proven ability to manage large OPEX budgets, enforce expenditure controls, analyze variances, and deliver cost-efficiency initiatives.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and integrated planning models.
  • Experience producing consolidated management reporting, board decks, and executive-level performance insights.
  • Strong senior stakeholder management skills, with evidence of influencing business heads and subsidiary finance leaders.

Desirable skills

  • Proficiency with enterprise planning, consolidation, or business intelligence platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Anaplan, Hyperion, Power BI, or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting executive decisions involving investments, restructuring, cost transformation, or strategic resource allocation.
  • Exposure to multi-jurisdictional operations, foreign currency consolidation, or diverse accounting and reporting environments.
  • Track record of automating FP&A processes and improving the quality, speed, or consistency of management information.
