Software Test Automation Engineer

Description

We are seeking a seasoned Software Test Automation Engineer to lead and enhance our automated testing processes. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing a robust testing infrastructure to ensure the stability and performance of our software products. The successful candidate will develop and maintain automated test frameworks, collaborate with multiple teams to achieve test coverage across the software development lifecycle, and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines. They will also perform non-functional testing and mentor junior engineers in test automation best practices.

Requirements

1. Proven experience in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks for web, API, and backend services.

2. Strong expertise in integrating test automation within CI/CD pipelines.

3. Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, and TestNG.

4. Experience in conducting non-functional tests using tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.

5. Ability to create automated test scripts for complex systems including APIs, databases, and microservices.

Desirable

1. Experience with cloud-based and containerized environments.

2. Familiarity with industry trends and emerging test automation tools.
