The City College London is seeking an experienced Programme Leader for its Business BTEC Higher National programme. This pivotal role involves leading and managing the delivery of Pearson BTEC Higher National Business qualifications at Levels 4 and 5. The Programme Leader will oversee programme quality, provide academic mentorship, conduct internal verifications, and coordinate curriculum developments to ensure compliance with Pearson frameworks. Additional responsibilities include managing administrative tasks, liaising with external regulatory bodies, and organizing academic projects and industry-relevant field trips. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, organizational, and teaching skills to meet and exceed Pearson's learning objectives.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a Programme Leader for BTEC Higher National Business programmes.

2. Minimum of 3+ years of senior lecturing in Pearson BTEC Higher National Business qualifications (Levels 4-5).

3. Thorough understanding of Pearson BTEC frameworks and their application in Higher Education.

4. Experience conducting internal verifications and ensuring quality assurance for Pearson qualifications.

5. Knowledge of regulatory compliance for OfS, OIA, and QAA standards.

6. Bachelor's degree or higher in Business or a closely related field.

Desirable

1. Teaching qualifications such as DET, PGCE, or QTLS.

2. Experience with external examiner processes for Pearson BTEC Higher National programmes.

3. Proven track record in effectively managing Pearson quality assurance reviews.
