Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic thought leader to join our team as a Senior Principal Solution Consultant for Asset Performance Management (APM). In this pivotal customer-facing role, you will be instrumental in driving transformational results by working closely with sales teams and customers to solve complex business challenges. You will lead the consultative discovery process, craft visionary solution roadmaps, and build compelling business cases for AspenTech’s APM solutions. As a trusted advisor, you will influence key stakeholders and demonstrate the differentiated value of our offerings. Your deep knowledge of APM solutions, combined with a keen understanding of process industry economics and digital technologies, will be essential. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can design and articulate complete solutions, from pre-sales through to delivery, ensuring our customers realize their business objectives and achieve significant value.
Requirements
1. 10+ years of experience in consulting, technology solutions, and/or process industries (e.g., petrochemical, refining, specialty chemicals).
2. Demonstrated maintenance and reliability working experience within process industries.
3. Proven working knowledge of and experience using maintenance and reliability related products e.g., CMMS, APM applications, Reliability Engineering, Condition Monitoring.
4. Demonstrated working knowledge of digital technologies e.g., Cloud, Data Management, ML/AI and their industrial application.
5. Strong understanding of process industry economics with an ability to build business cases and articulate differentiated value.
6. Experience developing robust recommendations, proposals, and scope of work documents.
7. Relevant technical qualifications such as a BSc in Engineering or an equivalent degree.
8. Ability and flexibility to travel for approximately 50% of total working time.
Desirable
1. Consulting, pre-sales, and/or professional services experience in process industries.
2. Regional work experience within the Middle East and Africa.
3. Proficiency in speaking Arabic.
4. Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to create clear conclusions from customer data.
5. A self-driven, agile, and disciplined professional with a strong drive to solve customer problems.
