byteSpark.ai's client is seeking an individual to join their top-ranked Global Research franchise as an Equity Research Analyst or Associate, focusing on the dynamic MENA Healthcare and Consumer sectors. In this role, you will develop a deep expertise in equities and markets, working closely with senior analysts to produce insightful, actionable research for institutional clients. Your core responsibilities will include building and maintaining complex financial models, performing in-depth data analysis, and contributing to the publication of high-impact research reports. You will also communicate our team's investment theses to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including investors and company representatives. Requirements
1. Proven experience in a sell-side or buy-side Equity Research role.
2. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, including building integrated three-statement models from scratch.
3. Strong valuation skills using various methodologies (DCF, multiples, etc.).
4. Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
5. Demonstrable experience in writing comprehensive research reports and investment notes.
6. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Proficiency with financial data providers such as Bloomberg or Refinitiv Eikon.
Desirable
1. Specific experience or a strong, demonstrated interest in the Healthcare sector.
2. Prior experience covering equities in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
3. CFA designation or active candidacy in the CFA program.
4. Experience presenting research findings and investment ideas to institutional clients.
5. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

This is an Equity Research Analyst or Associate role focused on MENA Healthcare and Consumer companies. Direct Healthcare equity research experience is highly valuable, but candidates with a strong and demonstrable interest in the sector may also be considered. Previous MENA equity coverage, Consumer sector exposure, CFA progress, and experience presenting research to institutional investors are additional advantages.
