Production Manager

Description

The Production Manager is accountable for the supervision of production and project teams at a manufacturing plant, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This role involves planning production schedules, evaluating project requirements, and managing resources to meet operational goals within time and budget constraints. The incumbent will drive the implementation of efficient manufacturing processes while achieving revenue and budget targets. Strong collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders is essential to support estimations, timelines, and resource optimization. The Production Manager will also oversee personnel performance and foster an efficient, safe working environment.

Requirements

1. Proven experience in managing manufacturing processes and production operations.

2. Strong knowledge of API 6A, 16A, 16C, 5CT, and 7-1 standards.

3. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and revenue commitments effectively.

4. Experience in resource optimization, including manpower, machinery, and materials.

5. Proficiency in project planning and scheduling using appropriate tools.

6. Excellent leadership and team management abilities, including onboarding and training.

Desirable

1. Experience in liaising with engineering disciplines and senior management.

2. Knowledge of process improvement and cost-control initiatives.

3. Exposure to handling customer requirements and working directly with sales teams.
