byteSpark.ai is a recruitment agency based in Dubai, supporting its client in the financial services sector as they grow their Pre-Sales team. We are seeking a dynamic Pre-Sales Engineer for a Dubai-based role that will play a hands-on part in translating complex client needs into practical and scalable solution designs for digital lending platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to support the full sales cycle, from initial client discovery and requirements gathering through to technical presentations, demos, and solution alignment. This role is well suited to someone with a strong blend of technical acumen and business awareness, able to help shape credible solutions for banks, telcos, and other financial institutions. Key responsibilities include documenting requirements, preparing solution flows, contributing to RFP responses, and helping ensure that proposed solutions are realistic, feasible, and aligned with client needs. This position reports to the Senior Vice President - Global Sales and is ideal for a structured thinker who can explain complex concepts simply and confidently navigate client-facing engagements.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.
2. 3 to 7 years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or solution consulting.
3. Proven experience within fintech, digital lending, SaaS, or enterprise technology environments.
4. Solid understanding of APIs, system integrations, and enterprise solution design principles.
5. Demonstrated ability to document business and functional requirements accurately.
6. Experience in preparing solution flows, architecture inputs, and technical presentations.
7. Strong knowledge of the digital lending lifecycle, including origination, underwriting, and servicing.
8. Complete fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Desirable
1. Professional fluency in French.
2. Direct experience working with clients such as banks, telcos, wallets, or microfinance institutions.
3. Experience contributing technical expertise to RFP and formal proposal responses.
4. Familiarity with providing input on implementation effort and delivery constraints for commercial discussions.
5. Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional product, engineering, risk, and operations teams.
