Description
We are seeking a dynamic Key Accounts Manager to spearhead our modern trade agenda across Central Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh, this high-impact role involves managing strategic relationships with top-tier supermarket and hypermarket accounts like Panda, Othaim, and Carrefour in Riyadh and Dammam. You will be responsible for an annual Gross Sales Value (GSV) exceeding SAR 550M, driving account strategy, category execution, and leading Business Development Agreement (BDA) negotiations across a portfolio of over 150 SKUs. This position requires a strong field presence and exceptional people management skills, as you will directly lead Key Account Supervisors. The ideal candidate will orchestrate strategic alignment between sales, trade marketing, and our retail partners to ensure seamless execution. You will play a pivotal role in implementing the national modern trade strategy, leading annual business planning, and ensuring merchandising excellence. This is a critical leadership position within our Sales Division, reporting directly to the Senior Sales Director.
Requirements
1. 5+ years of FMCG experience in key accounts or modern trade sales.
2. Proven track record of managing top-tier supermarket accounts in Saudi Arabia.
3. Demonstrable experience leading Business Development Agreement (BDA) negotiations.
4. Prior experience directly managing sales supervisors or key account teams.
5. Strong commercial planning and strategy execution skills.
6. Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
7. Currently based in Riyadh with the ability to travel regularly to Dammam.
Desirable
1. Specific experience in the food manufacturing/distribution industry.
2. Familiarity with Oracle or similar enterprise ERP systems.
3. Demonstrated ability as a strong strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills.
4. Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities.
5. Experience managing a commercial business volume exceeding SAR 500M.
