Masdar is seeking a visionary Head of Talent Development to architect and execute our global workforce strategy from our Abu Dhabi headquarters. This pivotal role involves designing transformative talent initiatives that build a robust leadership pipeline and enhance workforce capabilities for the future. You will lead the creation of innovative learning programs, career mobility frameworks, and comprehensive competency models that align directly with our strategic business goals. By championing a culture of continuous growth and high performance, you will empower our diverse teams to excel. This position is instrumental in driving employee engagement, managing UAE National talent development, and leveraging data-driven insights to ensure Masdar remains at the forefront of the global energy sector. You will manage a dedicated team and oversee the talent development budget to deliver impactful results and shape a future-ready organization.
Requirements
1. Extensive experience in designing and implementing global talent development strategies.
2. Proven expertise in creating multi-level leadership development frameworks and succession plans.
3. Deep knowledge of developing and embedding technical and behavioral competency models.
4. Demonstrated ability in managing the full lifecycle of learning and development (L&D) programs.
5. Experience with the selection and management of digital learning ecosystems (LMS, LXP, AI tools).
6. Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and performance reporting for a talent function.
7. Track record of designing and managing international mobility and career pathing programs.
8. Proficiency in using talent analytics and data to inform strategy and measure ROI.
Desirable
1. MBA or a relevant Master’s degree from a top-tier university.
2. Experience within the global energy, sustainability, or a high-growth technology sector.
3. In-depth exposure to and understanding of the Middle East and GCC business landscape.
4. Formal knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.
5. Hands-on experience with specific talent platforms such as Workday, Cornerstone, or Degreed.
