Description
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our dynamic engineering team at Gooten to enhance our order management and vendor routing systems. In this role, you will work across the full stack designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable features for backend services and frontend applications. You will collaborate in a remote-first environment with team members such as product managers and designers to translate requirements into clean, testable code and ensure continuous performance improvement. Responsibilities also include participating in code reviews, supporting system architecture decisions, troubleshooting production issues, and improving the reliability and scalability of our systems. This position is essential to advancing Gooten's mission to simplify fulfillment and custom manufacturing at scale.
Requirements
1. Proven experience with C# in microservice-based, high-concurrency systems.
2. Frontend development expertise with ReactJS, Redux, or AngularJS, particularly working with sagas, selectors, or data marshalling.
3. Advanced knowledge of relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server.
4. Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure.
5. Ability to write clean, scalable, and testable components using best coding practices.
6. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, agile development methodologies, and tools like JIRA, Jenkins, Git, and Confluence.
Desirable
1. Experience in infrastructure automation and improving performance optimization.
2. Strong ability to solve technical challenges and provide efficient root-cause resolutions.
3. Collaboration experience in remote-first or distributed team settings.
