We are seeking a diligent and experienced Compliance & AML Officer to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will safeguard the integrity of our gaming and financial operations by developing and implementing robust compliance frameworks. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining AML/CFT policies, executing customer due-diligence (KYC/KYB) processes, and ensuring our readiness for internal audits and external regulatory examinations. Your expertise will be vital in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, including DIFC, MiCA, and VARA regimes. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end process for identifying and reporting suspicious activities (SARs). This position requires a proactive approach to risk management and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of regulatory compliance. You will serve as a key resource for the business, providing guidance to ensure our products and operations are fully compliant. Requirements
1. Possession of a recognized AML/compliance certification (e.g., CAMS, ICA International Diploma).
2. Demonstrable experience applying regulatory frameworks such as DIFC, MiCA, or VARA.
3. Proven track record in implementing and managing KYC, KYB, and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes.
4. Hands-on experience in the end-to-end management of Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) from investigation to filing.
5. Experience in developing, writing, and implementing AML/CFT policies and procedures.
6. Experience leading or significantly contributing to preparations for regulatory examinations and internal compliance audits.
7. Strong analytical skills for transaction monitoring and investigating complex financial crime typologies.
8. Proficiency with compliance software, transaction monitoring systems, and case management tools.
Desirable
1. Direct experience within the gaming, payments, or virtual assets industry.
2. A legal or regulatory background with experience in interpreting and applying new regulations.
3. Experience conducting enterprise-wide AML risk assessments.
4. Familiarity with data analysis tools to support compliance monitoring and reporting.
5. Strong communication skills for training staff and liaising with regulatory bodies.
