We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Associate Manager for our Strategy & Corporate Development team. In this pivotal role, you will lead independent analysis and key work-streams that shape and execute our corporate strategy. You will be responsible for developing sophisticated financial models to assess projects, evaluate valuations, and support business development activities. This position involves managing small projects, identifying and implementing value-capture initiatives to improve performance, such as OPEX/CAPEX reductions. You will monitor and track key performance indicators, preparing insightful reports for management to drive corrective actions. Additionally, you will support the performance of our international assets and mentor junior analysts. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable recommendations. Requirements
1. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Strategy, or a related specialization.
2. 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Strategy, Finance, Management Consulting, or Corporate Development.
3. Strong and proven financial modeling skills for project assessment, valuation, and forecasting.
4. Demonstrated ability to independently lead and manage projects or complex work-streams.
5. Expertise in gathering, synthesizing, and interpreting complex data to generate strategic insights.
6. Experience with KPI monitoring, target tracking, and preparing performance reports for management.
7. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
8. High level of computer proficiency, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint.
Desirable
1. Experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or capital-intensive industry.
2. Previous experience in an internal consulting or corporate strategy role.
3. Proven ability to coach and mentor junior analysts.
