We are seeking a distinguished Director of Information Technology to lead our IT operations for our premier hotel in Dubai. This strategic role involves overseeing all aspects of our technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, network systems, and vendor partnerships. The ideal candidate will ensure the seamless operation of all hotel IT systems, crucial for our guest services and administrative functions. You will be responsible for leading a dedicated IT team, developing and implementing IT policies, and managing the technology budget. This position requires maintaining rigorous system logs, testing new software, and ensuring operational continuity around the clock. As a key leader, you will train and mentor your team, manage vendor relationships, and provide comprehensive monthly reports to the Corporate VP of IT. Your expertise will be vital in driving our technological advancement within the competitive hospitality landscape.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the IT sector.

3. At least 5 years of experience in an IT leadership role, specifically within a hotel or hospitality environment.

4. Expert-level knowledge of hotel-specific IT systems, such as Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), and guest-facing technologies.

5. Strong proficiency in network administration, IT security protocols, hardware and software management.

6. Demonstrated experience in managing IT budgets, inventory, and software licensing.

7. Proven ability to manage IT projects, from conception to completion, and coordinate with external vendors.

8. Complete fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable

1. Experience working within the Dubai or UAE hospitality market.

2. Professional IT certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or CompTIA Network+.

3. Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

4. Familiarity with regional data privacy and protection regulations.

5. Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
