We are seeking a dynamic Technology Services Manager to join a leading hospital in Dubai and spearhead its IT operations. In this pivotal role, you will lead all IT infrastructure, hybrid cloud operations, end-user support, and service management functions. Your primary objective will be to ensure the highest levels of system availability, security compliance, and user satisfaction for both clinical and business operations. This position requires a hands-on technical leader to manage a sophisticated hybrid environment, including Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You will be responsible for maturing our service desk, upholding stringent SLAs, managing HA/DR capabilities, and enforcing robust endpoint governance. Your leadership will directly impact patient care by ensuring our technology platforms are reliable, secure, and efficient. Requirements
1. Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and service management roles.
2. Demonstrable experience managing hybrid cloud environments, with specific hands-on expertise in both Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
3. Proven leadership of an IT service desk, including defining, measuring, and reporting on Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
4. Strong technical background in designing, implementing, and testing High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
5. Proficiency in modern endpoint governance, including device management, security policies, and patching.
6. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7. Experience applying ITIL frameworks to formalize and improve IT service management processes.
8. Hands-on technical leadership capability with a track record of mentoring teams and managing complex projects.
Desirable
1. Direct experience working within the healthcare sector, preferably in a hospital environment.
2. Professional certifications in cloud platforms such as Azure Administrator Associate/Expert or OCI Architect.
3. Advanced ITIL certifications (e.g., ITIL Managing Professional, Strategic Leader).
4. Familiarity with healthcare information systems (HIS, EMR, PACS) and data security requirements.
5. Experience with cybersecurity principles and their alignment with infrastructure operations.
