We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Reservoir Engineer to join our dynamic operations team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This senior role is critical for maximizing the value of our significant carbonate reservoir assets. The successful candidate will lead reservoir management strategies for large, mature fields, focusing on enhancing recovery and optimizing production. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex reservoir simulation models to forecast performance and guide development decisions. This position involves spearheading waterflooding optimization, designing comprehensive surveillance programs, and identifying new opportunities. As a technical leader, you will also play a key role in mentoring and developing junior engineers, shaping the future of our technical teams. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the long-term performance and strategic direction of our key assets. Requirements

1. Minimum 15 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas industry.

2. Extensive experience in managing large, mature carbonate reservoirs.

3. Proven expertise in dynamic reservoir simulation using Eclipse and Petrel RE.

4. Advanced knowledge of waterflooding design, management, and optimization techniques.

5. Strong background in reservoir surveillance planning, execution, and data integration.

6. Proficiency with material balance analysis using tools like MBAL.

7. Demonstrated experience in optimizing production and enhancing recovery factors in mature fields.

8. BSc in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related discipline.

Desirable

1. MSc or PhD in Petroleum Engineering.

2. Experience working on Middle Eastern carbonate fields.

3. Proven leadership skills with a track record of leading technical teams or major projects.

4. Formal experience in mentoring and developing junior engineering talent.

5. Experience with Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) screening and pilot projects.
