We are seeking a visionary Head of Blockchain Strategy to architect and champion our organization's journey into the decentralized future. This executive will define and drive our comprehensive blockchain roadmap, ensuring it aligns with our core business objectives and long-term digital transformation. You will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on disruptive opportunities across DeFi, asset tokenization, and digital identity. This pivotal role involves evaluating emerging protocols and platforms, forging strategic ecosystem partnerships, and leading enterprise-wide adoption. Collaborating closely with product, legal, compliance, and technology leaders, you will translate ambitious blockchain concepts into tangible, impactful business outcomes. Your expertise will guide the executive team through the complexities of regulation and risk, establishing our company as a leader in the Web3 space.
Requirements
1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in technology strategy or digital transformation.
2. At least 5 years in a senior leadership role directly focused on blockchain, Web3, or digital asset strategy.
3. Proven track record of developing and executing an enterprise-wide blockchain strategy from concept to implementation.
4. Deep technical understanding of Layer 1/Layer 2 protocols, cross-chain interoperability, and DeFi ecosystems (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum).
5. Demonstrable experience leading complex initiatives such as the tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs) or decentralized identity solutions.
6. Expert knowledge of smart contract applications, standards (e.g., ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155), and their business implications.
7. Strong familiarity with global blockchain regulatory frameworks, including MiCA (EU), FATF Travel Rule, and key regional policies (e.g., UAE's VARA).
8. Exceptional ability to build business cases, secure executive buy-in, and manage senior stakeholder relationships across diverse functions.
Desirable
1. An advanced degree (MBA, PhD) in a relevant field.
2. Experience representing a company within a major blockchain consortium or industry working group.
3. A portfolio of public speaking engagements, published articles, or thought leadership in the blockchain space.
4. Direct experience engaging with financial or technology regulators on digital asset topics.
5. Familiarity with institutional-grade crypto custody, staking, and treasury management solutions.
