Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled L1 NOC Engineer with 2 to 5 years experience to join our IT operations team in a 24/7 mission-critical environment. The role involves monitoring network systems, detecting and responding to incidents, and providing initial troubleshooting to ensure system performance and stability. You will maintain network documentation, collaborate with higher-level engineers, and escalate issues when necessary. A strong understanding of networking concepts, proficiency with monitoring tools, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to work shifts are key to success in this position. This is an excellent opportunity to grow and develop your technical skills in network operations and IT infrastructure. Salary: AED 12.5k - 13.9k per month

Requirements

1. 2-5 years of experience in IT support, network operations, or a related role.

2. Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.

3. Familiarity with network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

4. Proficiency with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or Zabbix.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting.

6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desirable

1. Experience working in a 24/7 operations environment, particularly in a NOC role.

2. Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent.

3. Familiarity with ITIL processes, especially incident and problem management.
