About the role

As the Group Chief Financial Officer, you will serve as a key member of the executive management team, reporting directly to the Group CEO. Your primary mission is to drive the Group's financial strategy, ensuring fiscal health and guiding pivotal financial decisions. You will be instrumental in developing and refining the Group’s overall vision by providing critical financial insight on all organization-wide initiatives. This role demands a strategic leader who will oversee the development of overarching financial strategies, lead the annual budgeting process, and manage the Group's capital structure. You will also direct the creation of robust internal controls, oversee tax strategy, ensure compliance with all financial regulations, and maintain strong investor relations. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a high-performing finance team and safeguarding the financial sustainability and integrity of the Group.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Active professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA.
  • Minimum 20 years of professional experience in financial management, specifically within the retail real estate sector.
  • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role within a multinational corporation, preferably in the GCC.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing overarching financial strategies, including capital structure management and investment planning.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of UAE/GCC governing bodies, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Demonstrated experience leading financial due diligence and integration for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Strong experience in overseeing external audits, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, and managing investor relations.
