Description
We are seeking a Smart Solution Support Engineer to provide first-line technical and operational support for our innovative digital solutions, ensuring seamless adoption and high performance. The ideal candidate will also serve as a technical architect and trusted adviser, providing immediate decision support and ensuring solutions are 100% ready for delivery from a technical design and governance standpoint. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, guiding users, and monitoring platform health. You will review and validate technical designs, advise on solution architecture, and act as a technical authority to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with security frameworks. This position requires a strong background in smart city platforms, IoT architecture, and Microsoft Azure, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Proven hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, including cloud architecture, security, and system integration.
3. Strong understanding of IoT architecture, including device integration, data pipelines, and edge-to-cloud deployment models.
4. Demonstrated experience with smart city platforms, frameworks, and ecosystems.
5. Experience in a technical support or IT operations role, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
6. Ability to review, validate, and govern technical designs and architecture diagrams.
7. Experience advising on solution architecture, technology stacks, and system integration approaches.
8. Familiarity with SQL/MySQL, application log analysis, and middleware platforms for troubleshooting.
Desirable
1. Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and ITIL frameworks.
2. Experience with service management systems like ServiceNow or Jira Service Desk.
3. Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools like Power BI.
4. Experience ensuring adherence to government security and compliance frameworks.
5. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
