We are seeking a specialist Survey Technician to join our Customer Network Solution team. In this role, you will be responsible for the physical delivery of network solutions and the provisioning of customer premises equipment for our B2B clients. You will handle complex services such as MPLS IPVPNs, SDWAN, and Cloud Voice, ensuring all installations meet our high standards and are completed within agreed timelines. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting site surveys, coordinating with internal teams and third-party vendors, and educating customers on technical prerequisites. This position has a significant impact on customer satisfaction and the timely delivery of services. You will act as an integral part of the Service Delivery and Assurance team, resolving issues independently and contributing to service delivery improvements. Requirements
1. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with MPLS IP services and Voice services CPE provisioning and troubleshooting.
2. BS in Engineering Degree or equivalent progressive experience in B2B Telco environments.
3. Valid CCNA or equivalent networking certification is mandatory.
4. Strong skillset and experience with IP Networking, L2/L3 Protocols, IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, POTN, SDH, and FTTX.
5. Good knowledge of router and switch hardware, functionalities, and features from vendors like Cisco and Huawei.
6. Demonstrable physical network troubleshooting skills.
7. Experience in customer site readiness, including conducting surveys and preparing technical prerequisites.
8. Familiarity with networking tools such as traffic analysers, fiber optic power meters, and Ethernet testers.
Desirable
1. ITIL or BICSI certification.
2. Experience with CRM and reporting tools such as Siebel, Field Force Automation, ERP, or Qlik.
3. Proven ability to understand and work within complex business processes and technical environments.
4. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and senior-level stakeholders.
5. Flexibility in work hours to meet project and customer demands.
