We are seeking a strategic Products Portfolio Lead to assume business ownership of key offerings within our Smart City Division in Doha, Qatar. This pivotal role involves driving the strategic direction, financial sustainability, and market adoption of our core digital platforms, including the Smart City OS, Integrated Command & Control Center (iCCC), Digital Twin, and Cognitive AI solutions. You will be responsible for translating Qatar's national digital transformation goals into a cohesive portfolio strategy, governing business case development, and optimizing investments to deliver measurable impact. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a proven history of leading large-scale digital portfolios in public sector or smart city environments. This position requires a leader who can navigate complex ecosystems, manage integrated roadmaps, and ensure our technology solutions achieve their intended societal and economic benefits.
Requirements
1. 15+ years of progressive experience in product or portfolio management, specifically within smart city or large-scale public sector programs.
2. Demonstrated success in leading and managing multi-product portfolios across complex technology ecosystems.
3. Proven expertise in developing board-ready business cases, defining investment theses, and creating financial models (ROI, TCO, payback).
4. Strong experience in portfolio governance, prioritization frameworks, and managing integrated roadmaps.
5. Expertise in designing and leading go-to-market, adoption, and change management programs for digital platforms.
6. In-depth understanding of emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, data analytics, cloud platforms, and Digital Twin.
7. Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders across government ministries and strategic partners.
8. Experience establishing benefits realization frameworks and using executive dashboards for performance-based decision-making.
Desirable
1. Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Professional certifications in Product Management (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM, SAFe).
3. Experience with product management and analytics tools such as JIRA, Asana, Power BI, and Google Analytics.
4. Direct experience defining partnership and ecosystem collaboration models.
5. Experience working in the GCC region, particularly with government-led digital transformation initiatives.
