IT Support Engineer (for 2 months)

Description

We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support Engineer for a temporary position based in Lusail City, Qatar, with a contract extending until December 2025. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all technical queries, providing essential first and second-level support to our end-users. Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues to ensure seamless IT operations. This hands-on position involves managing desktops, laptops, and peripherals, as well as supporting Windows OS and Microsoft Office 365 applications. The ideal candidate will also handle user account management, document all incidents meticulously, and contribute to system maintenance activities. Requirements

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.

3. Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows 10/11 operating systems and the full Microsoft Office 365 suite.

4. Demonstrated experience providing technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and various IT peripherals.

5. Solid understanding of basic networking concepts, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and connectivity troubleshooting.

6. Experience with user account management, including creation, modification, and access rights management (e.g., Active Directory).

7. Ability to document technical incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions clearly and concisely.

8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable

1. Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).

2. Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems like Jira, ServiceNow, or Zendesk.

3. Familiarity with remote support tools and technologies.

4. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
