Description
We are seeking an experienced Siebel Administrator to manage and enhance our Siebel CRM environments, which are critical to supporting our business sales and operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration, monitoring, and support of our production, QA, and disaster recovery Siebel systems. Your primary duties will include system installation, configuration, patching, cloning, and executing disaster recovery protocols. A key focus will be on performance tuning, load balancing, and comprehensive security management to ensure system integrity and efficiency. You will automate routine tasks using scripting and collaborate closely with development teams to deploy changes seamlessly. This position also involves providing Level 3 customer support, ensuring application compliance, and supporting daily business activities. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot complex server and application issues, maintain KPI reporting, and align CRM functionality with our technology architecture within a dynamic telecom environment.
Requirements
1. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Siebel Administration across multiple environments (Prod, QA, Dev).
2. Proficiency in Siebel architecture (IP17+), system components, and core CRM tools including BC, Workflow, eScript, and EIM.
3. Demonstrable expertise in Oracle databases, including advanced PL/SQL scripting and query optimization.
4. Experience with EAI integrations using technologies such as XML, SOAP, and REST APIs.
5. Strong knowledge of middleware servers, specifically WebLogic or Tomcat.
6. Hands-on experience with server environments (UNIX/Linux, Windows), including network configuration and SSL certificate management.
7. Proven ability in Siebel system installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and cloning.
8. Experience with performance tuning, load balancing, and security management within a Siebel landscape.
Desirable
1. A minimum of 10 years of overall IT experience, specifically within the telecommunications BSS/OSS domain.
2. Experience with Siebel Open UI customization using PM/PR files, HTML, and JavaScript.
3. Familiarity with automating administrative tasks using shell scripting, Python, or other relevant tools.
4. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5. Strong understanding of emerging telecom IT development trends and technologies.
