We are seeking a specialized Health & Sports ICT Systems Specialist to manage and support the critical technology infrastructure within our sports medicine and athlete healthcare environments. This pivotal role ensures the reliability, security, and seamless integration of Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR), rehabilitation technologies, and sports performance platforms. You will work directly with sports physicians, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation teams to support athlete treatment, recovery, and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will possess strong ICT systems expertise combined with a practical understanding of clinical workflows and confidential medical data handling. Your primary responsibility will be to provide robust technical support for all hardware, software, and network systems in our clinical and treatment facilities, ensuring our medical staff have the tools they need to provide world-class athlete care. Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Computer Science, or a related field.
2. 3–7 years of demonstrated experience supporting ICT systems within sports medicine, healthcare, rehabilitation, or clinical environments.
3. Hands-on experience with the administration and support of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
4. Proven experience with sports injury management systems, athlete health monitoring tools, or rehabilitation technologies.
5. Strong proficiency in supporting core ICT infrastructure, including Windows/Linux environments.
6. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals such as LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and network security.
7. In-depth knowledge of data security protocols, access control, and compliance standards for confidential medical data.
8. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues within a clinical setting.
Desirable
1. Formal qualification, diploma, or certification in Sports Medicine, Sports Science, or a related allied health field.
2. Experience with integrating wearable devices and performance monitoring tools into clinical workflows.
3. Previous work experience in Qatar or the GCC region.
4. Experience in delivering technical system training to medical and sports professionals.
5. Valid Qatar residency or evidence of a transferable sponsorship.
