UAT Manager

Description

We are seeking an experienced UAT Manager to lead our User Acceptance Testing strategies for critical Telecom BSS/OSS systems. In this role, you will design and implement comprehensive UAT frameworks and test strategies to ensure our software solutions meet the highest quality standards and align with business objectives. You will manage the end-to-end testing lifecycle, from planning and test data strategy to defect management and final sign-off. Your leadership will be crucial in building and mentoring a high-performing team of UAT leads and testers. This position involves overseeing the validation of complex customer journeys across diverse platforms, including mobile, web, USSD, and IVR. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and QA teams to align testing priorities with business goals. Furthermore, you will drive the adoption of test automation and integrate UAT processes into our CI/CD pipelines to promote continuous improvement. Your expertise will ensure regulatory compliance and the successful delivery of robust, customer-centric solutions.

Requirements

1. Over 10 years of experience in QA or UAT, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management capacity.

2. Demonstrated expertise in Telecom BSS/OSS systems (e.g., CRM, Billing, Charging, Order Management).

3. Proficiency in using QA management tools such as Jira, HP ALM, or TestRail for test planning, execution, and defect tracking.

4. In-depth understanding and practical experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall software development methodologies.

5. Proven experience managing end-to-end testing scenarios across multiple platforms, including mobile applications, web portals, USSD, and IVR.

6. Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) and their integration into UAT processes.

7. Strong capabilities in UAT environment management and test data strategy definition.

8. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Desirable

1. Professional certifications in QA (e.g., ISTQB), Agile (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster), or the telecom domain (e.g., TM Forum).

2. Experience working in a multi-vendor environment, managing deliverables from various partners.

3. Familiarity with integrating testing processes into CI/CD pipelines.

4. Advanced skills in stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication.

5. Experience in establishing and governing enterprise-level defect management protocols.
