Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Purchasing Analyst to oversee our IT procurement lifecycle. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition and supplier negotiation to contract issuance and financial tracking. This role is critical for ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of technology products and services while maintaining strict compliance with organizational policies. You will analyze purchasing requirements, manage vendor relationships, and resolve any procurement-related issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial skills to control project budgets, process invoices accurately, and provide insightful reporting on project health. Your expertise will be vital in optimizing our procurement strategies and supporting the operational efficiency of our IT programs.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Purchasing Analyst or a similar procurement role.
3. Proven experience managing end-to-end IT procurement processes.
4. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems, with specific experience in Oracle.
5. Strong understanding of procurement principles, contract law, and financial analysis.
6. Demonstrated commercial skills in cost tracking, invoice processing, account reconciliation, and project closure.
7. Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
8. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable
1. Master's degree in a related field.
2. Advanced certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or training in Governance.
3. Knowledge of public procurement frameworks, including tendering and bidding regulations.
4. Experience in developing and maintaining key project metrics and reporting dashboards.
5. Proactive problem-solving abilities to address complex procurement challenges effectively.
