Network and Security Administrator

Description

We are seeking an experienced Network and Security Administrator to manage and secure our organization's critical network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex network environments. This role involves the design and deployment of firewall infrastructure, administration of Cisco Nexus switches, and management of SD-WAN technologies. Key responsibilities include applying security policies, performing network audits, responding to security incidents, and managing F5 load balancers. You will monitor network activity using tools like HPNNMI, manage remote access solutions, and ensure the stability and security of our systems. This position requires strong technical proficiency in networking and security, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to infrastructure management.

Requirements

1. 6+ years of experience in network and security administration.

2. Expertise in configuring and managing Cisco Core/Access Switches (Nexus 7k, 9k) and routing protocols.

3. In-depth experience with firewall technologies, specifically Cisco ASA and Fortinet (IPS, IPSEC VPNs).

4. Proven experience with SD-WAN technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet, or Velocloud.

5. Hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancers, specifically the LTM module.

6. Proficiency in implementing and managing Network Access Control (NAC) using Cisco ISE.

7. Experience with remote access VPN solutions, particularly Cisco AnyConnect.

8. Strong understanding of Change Management and Incident Management processes.

Desirable

1. Experience with Web Application Firewall (WAF) technologies like Akamai or FortiWeb.

2. Familiarity with network monitoring platforms like HPNNMI (Opentext) and backup solutions like Solarwinds.

3. Basic knowledge of VMware and virtualized environments.

4. Experience managing enterprise antivirus solutions, such as Symantec.

5. Knowledge of authentication systems like RSA Authenticator.
