Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Stock Controller to manage the complete lifecycle of our technical equipment. In this role, you will oversee the daily movement of assets for both installation and maintenance, ensuring our field teams are always well-equipped. You will be responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, from processing new deliveries through our Quality Control Receiving (QCR) procedure to handling equipment recovery and write-offs. Your duties will include raising internal requisitions, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with supervisors to trigger replenishment. Furthermore, you will manage petty cash for urgent purchases and prepare periodic stock reports to support our asset management policies. This position is critical for ensuring operational efficiency and accurate asset tracking within a fast-paced technical services environment.
Requirements
1. 5+ years’ experience in an inventory or stock control role.
2. Experience within a telecommunications or technical services environment.
3. Demonstrable proficiency with inventory and asset management systems (e.g., SAP MM, Oracle SCM).
4. Strong working knowledge of internal requisition (IR) and procurement (PR) procedures.
5. Proven experience in managing the full equipment lifecycle, from receiving to write-off.
6. Experience completing Quality Control Receiving (QCR) procedures.
7. Basic financial handling skills for managing petty cash and processing write-offs.
8. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
