Description
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Risk & Business Continuity Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our Business Continuity (BC) Team to uphold our ISO 22301 BCMS certification. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the regular review and updating of critical documentation such as Business Impact Analyses (BIA), Risk Assessments, and Business Continuity Plans. You will actively assist in the periodic testing of both Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans, tracking results and improvement actions meticulously. Furthermore, you will support the timely resolution of audit findings and champion initiatives aimed at enhancing our organization's overall BC maturity. This position requires a collaborative individual who can help enhance employee awareness and ensure compliance with BC & DR policies, making a significant impact on our organizational resilience.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in risk management, business administration, finance, or engineering.
2. A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in implementing and maintaining a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).
3. Demonstrable experience with Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Risk Analysis methodologies.
4. Solid understanding of the ISO 22301 standard and its certification requirements.
5. Experience assisting with the testing and exercising of Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans.
6. Knowledge of BCI Good Practice Guidelines.
7. Experience supporting internal and external audit processes.
8. Fluent in both spoken and written English.
Desirable
1. ISO 22301 Lead Implementer certification.
2. Proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives within a BCMS framework.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for enhancing employee awareness.
4. Innovative and creative problem-solving abilities.
5. Familiarity with related risk management frameworks.
