Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Transport Duty Officer to oversee the daily operational, administrative, and monitoring activities of our Transport Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing task allocation, ensuring optimal fleet utilization through GPS tracking, and coordinating vehicle distribution. This role involves preparing comprehensive operational reports, maintaining accurate vehicle and compliance documentation, and ensuring uninterrupted service delivery. The position requires strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. A key requirement is the flexibility to work rotating shifts, including night duty, to support our 24/7 operations. This role is crucial for maintaining efficiency, safety, and compliance within our transport services.
Requirements
1. Demonstrated experience in daily transport operations, including dispatch, task allocation, and service coordination.
2. Proficiency in using GPS and fleet tracking systems for live monitoring, reporting, and violation tracking.
3. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for creating operational reports, spreadsheets, and databases.
4. Experience in maintaining transport-related documentation, such as vehicle records, accident reports, and compliance documents (Istimara).
5. Proven ability to work rotating shifts, including afternoon and night duty, as part of a 24/7 operational team.
6. Experience in a transport, logistics, or fleet management role within a hospital or healthcare environment.
7. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transport Management, or a related field.
8. Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage simultaneous requests from various departments.
Desirable
1. Experience conducting client satisfaction surveys for shuttle services.
2. Familiarity with preparing documentation for audits and internal compliance checks.
3. Strong analytical skills for interpreting fleet data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with drivers, end-users, and management.
5. Experience in coordinating vehicle maintenance and cleaning schedules.
