We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Contracts & Procurement Manager to lead our procurement and contract management functions. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that align with our organizational objectives, ensuring we secure high-quality goods and services at optimal value. You will oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to performance monitoring and compliance. Your leadership will be crucial in building strong supplier relationships, managing procurement budgets, and mitigating risks. The ideal candidate will drive cost-saving initiatives while upholding the highest standards of legal and ethical conduct. This position requires a proactive leader adept at managing complex negotiations and leading a team to achieve operational excellence in all procurement activities.
Requirements
1. A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in procurement, contract management, or a related field.
2. Mandatory professional fluency in both Arabic and English for negotiation and contract review.
3. Demonstrated success in negotiating and administering large-scale, high-value contracts, preferably within the IT industry.
4. Expertise in drafting, reviewing, and managing complex commercial contracts to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
5. In-depth knowledge of relevant local and international procurement laws, regulations, and best practices.
6. Proven ability to manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation and issue resolution.
7. Proficiency in using data analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel or Power BI for procurement reporting and analysis.
8. Strong understanding of strategic sourcing, cost control, and budget management principles.
Desirable
1. Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
2. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
3. Previous experience leading and mentoring a team of procurement professionals.
4. Familiarity with e-procurement platforms for managing RFPs, RFQs, and electronic auctions.
5. Experience in handling contract disputes, including mediation and arbitration processes.
