We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our B2B Solutions and Professional Services division. This pivotal leadership role will take full technical ownership of bulk water meter projects within a nationwide Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) rollout. The ideal candidate will lead technical teams and subcontractors through the planning, execution, and delivery of smart water meter installations and system upgrades. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration with our Head End System (HES) and guaranteeing all deliverables meet stringent technical and quality standards. This position demands strong stakeholder communication, meticulous project planning, and the ability to resolve complex technical issues effectively. Your expertise will be crucial in managing technical data integrity, mitigating risks, and driving continuous improvement. You will track and report on project progress, maintaining comprehensive documentation from initiation to final acceptance. This role is perfect for a certified professional with a proven track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects with precision and efficiency.

Requirements

1. Minimum of 10 years of experience managing large-scale, complex, customer-facing technical projects.

2. Bachelor's degree in IT/Telecom, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.

3. Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.

4. Demonstrated expertise in Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) technology, including smart meter installation and Head End System (HES) integration.

5. Proven ability to lead internal technical teams and manage third-party suppliers and subcontractors.

6. High proficiency in project planning tools such as MS Project and Primavera.

7. Experience in overseeing the installation and commissioning of technical infrastructure, specifically water or electrical meters.

8. Experience with GIS system data management and ensuring the integrity of technical data.

Desirable

1. Exceptional oral and written English communication skills.

2. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.

3. Experience working within the telecommunications or utilities sector.

4. Specific expertise with Siemens HES.

5. Proven track record in risk management and developing mitigation plans for complex projects.
