About the role
A client of byteSpark.ai is seeking a hands-on Pre-Sales Manager to support the design, development and delivery of customer-focused solutions across sales and delivery activities. The role requires strong solution architecture capability together with a practical understanding of fixed and mobile telecommunications, IP networks, protocols, applications, servers and storage.
The successful candidate will work closely with customers to understand their needs and pain points, translate requirements into appropriate technical solutions, and support the sales team through customer presentations, workshops, tenders, demonstrations and proofs of concept. They will provide hands-on architecture guidance, develop technical solution descriptions and integration guidelines, and contribute to defining and pricing customer solutions.
The role operates within a telecommunications intelligence environment, so experience with lawful interception, monitoring centres, analytics platforms, cyber intelligence, OSINT, data mining or related technologies is particularly relevant. The Pre-Sales Manager will also work closely with Product Management and other internal teams, formally capturing customer requirements and market feedback to help influence product and solution development. The position requires strong communication and presentation skills, a customer-focused and proactive approach, and the ability to transfer technical knowledge across regional sales, consulting, marketing and delivery teams. International travel of up to 30% may be required.
